List templates

Reuse a list’s structure whenever you need — create your own templates.

Your templates, and “Save as template” from any list.

Besides Totil’s four base templates (Shopping, Household Chores, Appointments, Medication), you can create your own. A template stores the structure (sections and items), without dates or completions, so you can start an identical list in seconds.

Create a template

From an existing list: ⋯ menu → Save as template.
In Lists → Actions → Manage list templates, you can create, rename, edit the contents of and delete your templates.

Templates are, in practice, template-lists you can edit like any list. You can highlight your 4 favourite templates so they show up right away on the new-list screen; the rest sit in an “Other templates” menu.

Tip

Great for repeating routines: a trip packing list, weekly meeting prep, or an end-of-month checklist.
