How it works without internet

Totil keeps working offline and syncs when the connection returns.

Totil stores your data on the device, so it works without internet. Offline you can view your lists and notebooks, mark items, add and edit tasks and sections. When the connection returns, everything you did is sent automatically and stays the same across all devices.

1With internet, the cloud icon is green (all synced).
2Offline, you keep viewing and editing; it goes grey and changes are saved on the device.
3When the network returns, Totil syncs by itself.

Note

For offline to work well, it’s worth installing Totil as an app (see the Guide). Some actions that depend on the internet (like sending invitations or emails) only happen when you’re online.
