Create a list

Open the new-list screen

• In the sidebar, tap + Create → New list.
• Or in Lists, tap the + New button (top right) — on phone, the floating + button.

Choose a starting point

You can start from a template — Totil includes four ready to use: Shopping List, Household Chores, Appointments and Medication — or from a Blank list. If you’ve created your own templates, they appear here too. On the right, the live preview shows how the list will look as you type.

Fill in the details

1. 1List name (required) — give it a name, e.g. “Weekly shopping”.
2. 2Note (optional) — a reminder or description for this list.
3. 3Category (optional) — file the list into a group; you can create a new category here with ＋ New category.
4. 4Highlight colour (optional) — a coloured stripe so you recognise the list at a glance.
5. 5Tap Create list. The list opens ready to use.
