Create notebooks, tabs and pages

Build your notes structure and move around it.

Create a notebook

In Notebooks, the library shows all your notebooks. Tap New notebook (or + Create → New notebook), choose an emoji, a name and a colour. Mark the ones you use most as favourites (the star) to keep them handy in the navigation.

Tabs and pages

Inside the notebook, use ＋ Tab to create tabs. Each tab can have its own colour.
In each tab, create pages. A page can have sub-pages — use the page’s ⋯ menu for “New sub-page”, “Make sub-page of…”, “Promote to page”, rename, move or delete.
On computer you can drag tabs and pages to reorder them.

Tip

On phone, the pages panel slides in from the side and shows the tree of tabs and pages. The open page is remembered, so when you return it reopens where you were.
