Contacts and groupsPRO
Connect with other people and create groups to share lists in an instant.
Contacts
On the Contacts page you add people by email. A request is sent; when the other person accepts, you’re connected. You can then invite them to lists and notebooks with a single tap, without typing the email each time.
If you prefer, create an invite link: give it a name (so you know whose it is), copy it and send it however you like — a message, WhatsApp, whatever suits. Each link is for one person and works once. Someone who already has an account gets a request to answer, alongside any others waiting; someone who doesn’t is connected to you as soon as they create an account through the link.
You can give each contact a private nickname — only you see it, and it replaces that person’s name across the app.
Groups
A group brings several contacts together (with an emoji and name), for example “Family” or “Team”. Sharing a list with a group invites all members at once.
Anyone who accepts joining one of your groups also becomes your contact — joining the group is already a yes. The reverse doesn’t happen: accepting you as a contact doesn’t join any group, because a group can give access to lists and notebooks.
Tip
You don’t have to wait for the person to accept — or even to have an account. A pending contact, invited by email or by link, can already be added to groups and used to share lists and notebooks: it all waits for them and arrives at once when they come in.
